I've set Win10 to search for better drivers, update setting rescan for changes and tried uploading drivers myself, Win10 refuses and stays with the best is already set. I changed all those to never Power save that improved the mouse problem but but the problem still exists. Recently I found all of the USB setting were set to power down those ports even though I set the PC to *Never "Power Save, Power Down. The "New Device Detected 3 tones" sometimes happens back to back, one right after another. The scroll wheel is fundamentally useless and only works from time to time but never more then a few seconds then back to nothing (as usual). Sometimes it disconnects the mouse/cursor from what open program I am using and twice after the notification the cursor disappears altogether. At that moment the mouse freezes That can happen often or only a few times a day. Hey Everybody, For some months now my Win10 will sound the "New Device Detected 3 tones".
